Please be aware that thousands will be looking to arrive at the same time as you, and road closures will be in operation so please allow plenty of time for traveling and parking.

Travel:

Cardiff Bay is easily accessible by foot, bike or public transport. It’s a 20-minute walk from the city centre and is served by regular buses and trains (via Cardiff Queen Street Station).

Visit www.cardiffbus.com or www.nationalrail.co.uk for more information on public transport options.

Parking:

Road closures for the event will impact access to Cardiff Bay. If you are travelling by car, to avoid congestion to the highway we recommend parking in the city-centre then walking, jogging or taking a bus/train to Cardiff Bay. Please note that unlike in previous years, there will be no access to car parking in County Hall.

You can find more information on city-centre parking options here.

Claim a free ride with OVO Bikes powered by nextbike:

Participants can claim 2 x 30 min free rides via the city’s innovative bike share scheme on event day. There will be a virtual station at the event where you can drop a bike easily without having to look for a fixed station.

Participants will be e-mailed a free ride code in the lead-up to the event (as part of their digital race pack email on Wednesday 22 September).
