A 10K race around Cardiff Bay

Travel, Parking & Road Closures

Please be aware that thousands will be looking to arrive at the same time as you, and road closures will be in operation so please allow plenty of time for traveling and parking.

Travel:

Cardiff Bay is easily accessible by car, foot or public transport. It’s a 20-minute walk from the city centre and is served by regular buses and trains (via Cardiff Queen Street Station).

Visit www.cardiffbus.com, www.nationalrail.co.uk or www.cardiffbay.co.uk for more information on all transport options.

Parking:

Parking is available in County Hall for £5 all day. We ask that runners arrive in plenty of time (at least 1.5 hours before the start of the race) in order to easily access the car park – arriving any later will cause traffic build-up that could mean you miss the start of the race.

Details of how to get there can be found here. Other parking options will also be available in the surrounding area. Details of those can be found here.

Visit www.cardiffbay.co.uk for more information on all parking options.

Road Closures:

Some road closures will be in operation to facilitate the safe passage of participants. Please bear these in mind when planning your travel and parking.

A road closure map for 2019 can be seen here.  If you need to travel around the area on the day use our interactive Google Map to plan your journey around the closures.

If you are resident or business with a road closure query please contact cardiffbay@run4wales.org.
