A 10K race around Cardiff Bay

Information For Elites

The Brecon Carreg Cardiff Bay Run (10K) welcomes entries from elite athletes who have met the qualifying criteria.

Qualifying Criteria

You can claim a free entry  if you have achieved the times below in 2017, 2018 or 2019;

Men (Sub 32Minutes)
Women (Sub 37 Minutes)

Prize Money

1st £800
2nd £500
3rd £300
4th £100
5th £75

There will also be a course record bonus of £300 available for breaking the course records below;

Men: Dewi Griffiths (2017) – 29:08
Women: Eleanor Davis (2018) – 33:42

Masters Prizes

There are also kit prizes for master athletes as follows; M35, M45, M55, M65+, MW35, MW45, MW55, MW65+

Healthspan Wales 10K Series

The following races make up the 2020 Healthspan Wales 10K Series;

Sunday 29th March Brecon Carreg Cardiff Bay Run
Sunday 19th April ABP Newport Wales 10K
Sunday 5th July Healthspan Porthcawl 10K
Sunday 2nd August Barry Island 10K

Athletes will be scored using cumulative time from their best three performances.

The following overall series prize money will be available;

2nd £200
3rd £100
4th £75
5th £50

There are also kit prizes for master athletes as follows; M35, M45, M55, M65+, MW35, MW45, MW55, MW65+
